Does Your Mind Reign Supreme? 👑
Howdy Friend,
Have you ever had one of those moments when you realized, "Gawd! I should have listened to my intuition!"
Or, "Why did I take that advice?! I knew in my gut what to do!"
Or even, "I'm so glad I followed my heart." 💜
Such moments remind us that we don't have to think our way through life. The mind isn't the only mode of internal communication that can guide us.
I'm guessing that some of your biggest, most life-changing moments were precipitated by a deep inner knowing that transcended the mind, right?
And that's why I'm going to say something bold here:
Gemini may be the most important sign of the zodiac. 💥
(Before you think I'm playing favorites, be reminded: We all have The Twins somewhere in our horoscope. Each sign of the zodiac is represented in your unique astrology. Always. Without exception.)
Gemini represents the mind. And at this point of human evolution, the mind reigns supreme.
We're almost exclusively attempting to navigate life through our heads, even as we have countless personal examples that we really shouldn't.
Even when certain situations call for the heart or the gut or diplomatic conversation, we rely on the mind to "resolve it" for us — without even realizing what we're doing!
Is your mind really equipped for such an enormous and nuanced task as captaining your entire life, friend?
When we're ferociously thinking about something — anything — all the energy rises to our head and we almost always disconnect from the body's wisdom (like those examples I give above).
We lose presence as the mind recklessly takes control over situations it simply has no business guiding us through. ⚠
I think this is such an important topic that I'm posing only one contemplation for you this week:
💬 How often do you default to your mind without consideration for what your heart and your body are communicating to you? Does it even occur to you that your thoughts aren't the only inner compass you can rely upon?
This is a perfect time to let this contemplation ruminate because Cosmic Trickster, Mercury — the "ruling" planet of The Twins — moves into his home sign of Gemini this Sunday at 3.26am PT. ♊
(Interestingly, just an hour after Pluto moves back into Capricorn).
>> Mercury hasn't changed signs in a very long time — due to his recent retrograde — so we'll feel his shift more keenly than usual.
Our intellect is likely to be more spry now that he's back in his preferred element (air!) instead of grounded in an earth sign. 🌬
While your mental faculties may be sharper and communication is likely to be easier, you may also find yourself experiencing symptoms of excess, like over-stimulation. #meditate
Oh wait, that's our everyday reality... Hence Gemini being the most important sign!

On Sunday morning at 2.35am PT, Powerful Pluto retrogrades back into bureaucratic Capricorn through January 2024.

Ok, I may be exaggerating ever so slightly for dramatic effect here. 😉 🦈
Pluto is currently in Aquarius, where he's been since March 23, giving us a brief taste of what his 20-year tour of the Water Bearer will feel like.
The next eight months will provide the opportunity to revisit any lingering issues around workplace responsibility and empowerment (especially as it relates to fear and control), including leadership and integrity.

💜 In Love & Money
Lovely, diplomatic Venus joined her consort Mars in the sign of the Lion last week. She will remain in Leo until October 8 — about three full months longer than usual!
Leo is a leader. He courageously follows his heart and shows others how to creatively express themselves too (emphasizing my earlier points about the various forms of internal wisdom available to us). 🦁
When Venus occupies this sign for such an extended period (due to a retrograde in late July), we are being gifted an opportunity to reflect upon and reconsider whether our relationships and values, like money, are in alignment with our Soul's creative yearnings and expression.

🕊 With Divine
This week, it's Prime Time Divine with Karmic Saturn in a lovely aspect over to Guru Jupiter.
Saturn is the archetype of time and is often depicted by Father Time. He's currently in the sign of Pisces, representing timelessness! Uh oh! ⏳
His transit through Pisces will undoubtedly help us recalibrate our understanding of time: The importance of respecting the laws of time and space in our material reality while also surrendering to Divine Timing.
We may have time on the brain this next year while he's in aspect to Jupiter, and we certainly will this week.
How can you reconcile the dualistic nature of time? Where do you need to surrender your demands on time? Do you need to get your head out of the clouds and remember that your time in this form is limited? How do you want to make the most of it? 🤔
