Jupiter conjuncts Uranus in Taurus for the first time in 14 years this Saturday, April 20, 2024.

Not only is this aspect somewhat infrequent, but due to the planets' orbits, it doesn't usually fall in the sign of Taurus, so it's doubly juicy.

Typically when these planets meet, we can expect an influx of positivity or fun in our life, even if it's just for a few days. 🎉

I get this question a lot after big cosmic events. What do they really mean for our daily lives? How long are you going to feel the energy?

Eclipses always kickoff new cycles of energy, even when they aren't in the sign of new beginnings (Aries) like Monday's New Moon. 🌙♈

Essentially, you'll be feeling this energy playing out as long as you continue to pursue the new avenue that opened up.

So what's new for you, my friend? There's gotta be something.

What I'm hearing most from folks is that the Full Moon lunar eclipse on the March 25, 2024 really provoked some deep internal processes.

Specifically, a recognition that something that's been present for a long while needs to be released or transmuted. That "something" can be anything personal like a habit or mindset or interpersonal like a job or relationship. 🕊️

Usually, change is forced upon us due to pressures from external events that illuminate what's not working.

But that last Full Moon seems to have created an atmosphere in which we realize we actually want to change — not because we're uncomfortable and suffering (though that may be true, too) — but because we feel an impulse to grow into something new. 🦋

Whatever is "up" for you now as a result of the Full Moon energy shift on Monday will be in play throughout eclipse season. If anything big arose — especially something requiring serious decision-making — I suggest you wait until mid-April to really take action.

This isn't meant to frighten you, but to help you understand that we're in a portal of energy that can bring sudden or dramatic shifts in orientation or situation. 🧭

To take action now would be premature, as the New Moon will bring greater clarity and understanding to the situation. At the conclusion of eclipse season, we need weeks — if not months — to integrate what's arisen and to clearly see the path forward.

Sagittarius energy has a quality of luminescence that facilitates our relationship to Divine and the ultimate Truth of our reality. ♐
No matter where you fall on the spectrum of love or loathing of the holiday season, and regardless of current world events, the prevailing undercurrent of energy is one of optimism — that most quintessential of Sagittarian qualities. 😍

Although we're now a few weeks out from Eclipse Season, we're still undergoing an important cycle that has to do with our values: Identifying, realigning and embodying them in our daily lives.
This is a topic that — like all inquiries — deepens with contemplation.

Scorpio isn't an easy sign.

As the transformative agent of the zodiac, it's an intense energy (understatement) that is learning to embrace the dark spaces both of one's inner recesses and the external world.

In other words: It's the shadow. And the shadow is very often rejected and disavowed. Sometimes, it's hated. 🐍

The shadow can inspire everything from murderous rage to abandonment or even a deeply controlled repression.

It's really not pretty what we humans will do when we feel betrayed by Shadow — our own or another's. ⚔

Whew. Eclipse Season was intense over here. How about for you? David Bowie's "Changes" keeps echoing through my mind.

"Ch-ch-ch-changes. Turn and face the stranger." 👨‍🔬🎵

Whether you experienced Eclipse Season with ease and/or difficulty, it's likely that some point of inner or external tension or conflict was illuminated, clearly showing where a reorientation is necessary.

It's now time to "turn and face the stranger," whether that's yourself, a situation or a new way of navigating life.

That's the beauty of having an eclipse during Scorpio Season:

Introspection comes more readily. We're more likely than at other times to want to identify and root out the sources of our suffering so that we can have a different experience.

When Scorpio energy is involved, we're often presented with situations that are unequivocally complete (aka: dead and decaying). 💀

Scorpio is the most self-reflective sign of the zodiac (followed closely by Capricorn). This archetype is teaching us about our inner limitations; those habits, behaviors, thought processes and the like that have a tendency to create undesirable situations and suffering.

It's the sign of transformation and transmutation, because it has the ability to diagnose the "problem," as well as the solution.

It's a sign that learns how to become self-empowered by successfully navigating the darkest experiences of our inner and external worlds. 🌑🐍

And hey, guess what? It's in the darkness, the silence, that we're best able to receive.

Receptivity is an essential ingredient for empowering yourself and cultivating a connection with Divine (or even just your own heart or intuition. Maybe they're all the same?)

We need only look to the world stage to understand what's going on with our individual selves. The rage is real. 💥

This past Sunday evening, Venus FINALLY moved out of her retrograde shadow. She changed signs, with her ingress into Virgo.

That happened just after ...

Mars and Pluto concluded their hostile multi-week standoff, blowing the tops off minds and roofs. (Not surprisingly, we saw violence on the world stage when this aspect piqued Saturday and included the emotional Moon.) 💣

Thank goodness this energy is now waning, because Mars and Pluto in square to one another under eclipse energies would be even more volatile than what we just experienced. Eeeek! 😱

That's some bit of good news.

Being receptive to the cosmic energies is just as important as understanding them at an intellectual level. 🤔

After decades of being immersed in astrology, I can now feel a person's astrological signatures. Some are more obvious than others, but generally, I can construct some semblance of a person's horoscope through interaction alone.

And not because I'm an excellent astrologer (I am), 🤨 but because I've learned that the astrology corresponds to energies that we're all feeling all the time. Anyone can do this with enough training and attention!

We're less than a week into Libra Season and we've already got the Full Moon in Aries this Friday morning at 2.57am PT. 💥

The planetary "rulers" of these two planets are Venus and Mars, the cosmic lovers. They're in harmonious aspect to one another, emphasizing the energies.

Then on Saturday, still under the Full Moon vibes, Luna makes an aspect over to Venus.

To sum it up: The archetypal masculine and feminine energies are strongly and positively emphasized.

💘Venus and Libra = all things feminine or receptive

⚔ Mars and Aries = all things masculine or action-oriented

Venus has been retrograde (Rx) in Leo and Luna is Full in Aries — two masculine fire signs that express their zeal for life with dynamism and passion.

Can you believe it's fall already?! I feel like the blizzard that ravaged my tiny town in March happened only recently, not an entire season ago! The fall equinox happens just shy of midnight on Friday, September 22 at 11.50pm PT. ♎

It occurs when the Sun crosses the celestial equator of the Northern Hemisphere and the Sun ingresses to 0° Libra. Libra is the sign of equality and on this day, we have light and darkness in equal measure. 🍂

Any time the Sun reaches 0° of a cardinal sign, this is a significant event, and one marked by the changing of the seasons. The procession of the equinoxes is also the foundation of western astrology!

Since Virgo Season began, I've seen the beginning of the end of a few MAJOR cycles in my own life and the collective.
