Any Big Full Moon Insights?

Wow! Was Monday's Full Moon was a potent one for you, too?

As you may remember, both the Sun and Mercury retrograde are in the sign of the Lion, giving rise to reflection on how we perceive our own "razzle dazzle" and how we communicate our uniqueness to others.

Leo is also the sign of courage, leadership and following the heart. This archetype has an almost insatiable desire to be loved and can suffer from pangs of insecurity when out of alignment with his Life Purpose or creative potential.

And remember, each of us has ALL of the archetypes represented in our personal astrology. You don't have to be a Leo for the above to apply to you!

In fact, the Sun in your chart (your sign or sun sign) reflects back the Leonine need to passionately "birth" your deepest desires into being. (Leo is not about manifesting, it's about creating.)

Leo is also the sign of reinvention. Because it's the ultimate creative life force energy (the Sun!), it can recreate itself whenever the need arises.

Although the Full Moon vibes have passed, we've still got one more week of Mercury retrograde. You can use this remaining time to reflect on how you perceive yourself and what you're communicating to others about what makes you a unique and creative individual that contributes to the whole of your community and the planet.

Who are three people that you admire most? 

What about them do you think is so amazing? Is it possible that you possess those same qualities to some degree?

Do you ever feel like you're not being seen? 

That you aren't recognized or appreciated for something you contribute to your workplace or a relationship? Do you celebrate those characteristics in yourself or are you waiting for someone else to notice them first?

Are you lacking confidence in some arena of life that is being energetically communicated to others? 

If you don't yet have the confidence, can you grab some of Leo's courage? Can you act from a place of bravery instead of insecurity? If you did, would that change how you show up to others?

☀️ ♍ Tomorrow, Thursday, at 7.55am PT, the Sun moves out of Leo and joins Venus in the sign of humble Virgo the Virgin.

This is a much different energy — grounded earth instead of dynamic fire — and you'll experience a noticeable shift of priorities. You'll likely find yourself caring less about having summer fun and more about domestic matters.

I will dive deeper into this important archetype next week, as Virgo is the sign of Mind-Body-Spirit balance and health. It's also the second sign ruled by the Cosmic Trickster (Mercury!), so it's symbolism is nuanced.

🪐 ♓ Guru Jupiter in Gemini continues to square compassionate Saturn in Pisces through Friday.

You may find yourself feeling stuck, stymied or generally frustrated by an inability to move forward on your goals or plans. 😲

With the added Mercury Rx nonsense, this can be experienced as a series of setbacks or delays that prevent the progress you want.

Maybe you feel like time is slipping through your hands, or you like you're racing against the clock in some way?

Or, you could feel blocked from seeing things clearly, as though you're wearing blinders.

✨ Beginning Friday and through this weekend we have two harmonious aspects. First, beautiful Venus trines the Great Awakener, Uranus.

When Venus and Uranus come together cooperatively, we see that sudden or unexpected insights help us:

Mars may give you a renewed gusto for learning or communicating more authentically, while Jupiter ensures that you're perceived positively by others. 📚

🍌 Speaking of Mercury — his retrograde finally ends next week on Wednesday, August 28. Rejoice!

Last week I mentioned that we will be experiencing some intense energies for the remainder of the year. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it can be uncomfortable.

Personally, I feel like a snake getting ready to shed its skin. I've outgrown the old one — the former way of being and doing — and I'm ready to emerge for a new time of growth.

But daaaaamn if the skin hasn't fully shed itself yet!! I'm itchy and twitchy and impatient to be DONE already with the old so that I can fully embody the new. 🐍

But alas, growth happens on its own timeline. The planetary alignments indicate that the next few months are the final stage of growth for us all (at least foe the current cycles).

Transformative Pluto, often symbolized by the snake, butterfly and phoenix, will re-enter Capricorn for the final time in our lives from September 1-November 18. 🦋

Get ready, my friend, this will be the last call to wrap up unresolved patterns and experiences so that you can fully step into the new energy that awaits in 2025.
