Is It Time To Call Your Mama?
Well hello there Eileen!
Holy wow, that recent Capricorn Full Moon was INTENSE. It felt a lot more like an eclipse to me than a regular 'ol Full Moon. How about you?
If you experienced something similar, let me remind you that we've got Pluto in Capricorn at the super potent 29°.
Pluto's already amplifying the energy of the Goat, but a Full Moon (culminations and emotions) in the same sign really drove the point home.
The cosmos are giving us a last chance to wake up to these Capricornian lessons!
How are you transforming your relationship to responsibility and aligning with your values to empower yourself? How is life serving you and your spiritual path?
>> A word to the wise: Listen to the cosmos now. Don't ignore the signs and messages you're receiving. Otherwise, you may find the turbulence ramped up here these next few months!
We're still in Cancer Season and Cancer is ruled by the Moon — one of our "Big 3" (Sun, Moon and rising sign).
The Moon is a super crucial element of each person's unique astrology, especially as it relates to early childhood, intimate relationship dynamics and nurturing (including how you nurture yourself and others).
I have a nifty and simple "Moon Sign and Relationships" guide that can help you navigate the current moment, as well as help you understand yourself and loved ones better, too.
When I look at the Moon in your horoscope, I'm not just seeing how you interrelate with your most important others. I'm also seeing your first and most significant relationship — your relationship with your mombasa.
And when you really think about it, your mom was your first love, right? No matter how this bond has evolved over your life, your mama reigns supreme.
More generally, I'm also speaking about early childhood. Your family and the family unit — and familial dynamics, really — are represented in your chart by Cancer and the Moon.
Cancer and the Moon are one of the most vast and complicated archetypes of the zodiac, as it points to the most fundamental underpinnings of our psyches. #Jung
Understanding your Moon sign can help you understand your evolutionary intentions because the challenges and gifts you received in early childhood catalyze your Soul's growth.
Do you need to do some healing work around your relationship with your mama bear?
How about your early childhood experiences generally (including with extended family)?
What repeating patterns are you living out that stem directly from childhood?
Do your intimate relationship dynamics look just like your parents' dynamic? Or maybe you chose the exact opposite route?
Do you nurture yourself the way you need to be nurtured or based on how your parents nurtured you?
Does this help or hinder you?
The astrological Moon can help bring greater insight to how you're repeating your childhood as an adult, especially with your intimate relationships or with your own children and littles.
THE ASTROLOGICAL FORECAST
Venus — the goddess of love, beauty and money — will go retrograde (Rx) soon on July 22. Venus goes Rx about once every 18 months, so this is an important cycle.
I like to call it the "Season of the Ex," because inevitably, you'll be hearing from someone from the past, if not entertaining the idea of rekindling a relationship.
This is especially true this year with Venus in Leo, the sign of romance and passion.
Leo is also the sign of leadership, courage and following your heart. This is potent energy because Leo is ruled by the Sun — the masculine, yang energy that makes all life possible!
Currently, and throughout her five-week Rx period, Venus will be in a square aspect to illuminating Uranus.
That means we can expect to experience unexpected or insightful scenarios designed to realign us with our Soul's evolutionary intentions in the following arenas:
Money and generosity
Love and courageously following your heart
Self-worth and empowerment
Respecting yourself enough to embody your deepest values
Unfortunately, there's nothing sweet about Uranus. Empathy really isn't his game. This is truthful crown chakra energy, not gentle heart chakra vibes.
It's a time to be gentle with yourself; attend to your self-care with more conscientiousness than usual; and definitely reach out to your intimate others — like your moms — for the support you need.
Cancer reminds us that we must nurture ourselves first and foremost if we're ever to have the fulfilling life and relationships we crave.
The "Moon Signs and Relationship" guide can help with this, too.
