This Week's Full Moon Vibes

Hi there,

We're just one week into Cancer Season. How did it start out for you? On Friday, I got several reports of shit going DOWN. It seemed to come from all angles, too. Were you bombarded?

The culprit was two-fold.

We had communicative Mercury in nasty aspect over to Neptune, who's foggy, confusing and even deceptive. Confusion and miscommunication were in abundance. (Thankfully, this has passed.)

Secondly, Lord Pluto is just chillin' at 29° Capricorn, a very intense degree of the zodiac. Pluto's potent energy isn't going unnoticed, as we get our last chance to examine and transform our relationship with responsibility and integrity.

(You can see these two aspects playing out on the world stage with recent events in Russia.)

Yes, we're actually in relationship with responsibility and integrity!

Is yours enduring and based on truthful devotion or are you headed for a bitter breakup? It's time to pony-up and align with your highest values.

This week, we have a double-dose of Capricorn energy because we've got a Full Moon in the sign of the goat on Monday, July 3 at 4.38am PT.

Although this lunation happens in the wee hours of the morning, you can expect to be feeling the vibe all day Sunday and Monday.

Capricorn is the most hardworking sign of the zodiac, expending massive amounts of energy toward a goal or material security for its family — often at the expense of nurturing itself.

The Crab is the goat's polarity. Cancer's predisposed to giving itself over to family — graciously nurturing everyone else as an ideal mother would, but often not really knowing how to care for itself.

So although these two signs are zodiacal polarities, we see that they're both exceptional caretakers (emotionally and/or physically).

And yet, neither is particularly superb at nurturing itself.

Thankfully, if and when these two signs can embrace one another, they'll find their way back to balance and become better adept at self-care and self-nurturing!

As I'm always reminding you — WE ALL have Cancer and Capricorn in our charts somewhere. Please don't think, "this doesn't apply to me." It really, really does.

Cancer would do well to take some Capricorn responsibility for her own emotional needs and stop looking to others to nurture her.

She's also likely to attend to others as a way to ignore her own needs because it's easier to focus outwardly than inwardly (aka taking responsibility for others; aka codependency).

Capricorn can learn from Cancer that emotions are not weaknesses but can be a source of strength and connection with those we love.

Home life and your career can benefit from healthy expression of one's lunar nature and maternal energies. Spending leisure time with family can be of great benefit too. It's okay to slow down, relax and even stay in bed all day on occasion!

Here's your Full Moon inquiry:

What's the intersection of nurturing and responsibility in your life?

And how can you see it reflected through your relationships — especially those that might be a bit problematic at present?

THE ASTROLOGICAL FORECAST

I'm a tired Capricorn this week. The forecast will be brief so I can attend to self-care.

Although a Capricorn Full Moon is typically a more somber event, we've got jovial Jupiter making fabulous aspects to both luminaries (the Sun and Moon).

Likewise, Jupiter is in equally happy aspect to lovers, Venus and Mars — both are now in romantic, playful Leo.

These are all wonderful alignments that promise much ease and enjoyment. That said, we still have Uranus in square to Venus and Mars.

Uranus acts as the sudden insight or the epiphany that brings greater awareness — but usually through jolts and rushes of energy, not through gentle measures.

>> We'll be reminded that any recent issues we've had with relationships are not yet resolved.

In fact, we can expect more of the same in this arena. (Relationships are almost always the greatest catalyst for our Soul growth!)

How do you nurture yourself?

I often turn to gardening or music and dance. There are few things in life I love more. If you have a song (or two) that you absolutely love, please share 'em with me. I listen to everything from country to classical, so don't be shy.

xo,

E

P.S. This fall, I'm forming an Astrological Guidance Circle — a weekly gathering for astrological enthusiasts (YOU!) seeking self-understanding and transformation via the ancient wisdom of the cosmos. Click here for more details.
