It's A Juicy Astrological Week!
This week, we're being bombarded with some interesting cosmic energies! Rather than save the AstroLogical Forecast for the end, I'm going to devote this entire email to the week's transits.
But first, a quick announcement!
For those in Nevada County, I'm hosting live events again at Inner Path! Details are in the P.S. at the end of this email.
>> Alright, let's get dialed in with this week's energies by first reviewing the important retrogrades!
Last week on the 12th, Mars went direct after more than two long months retrograde (Rx).
But since this was a long transit and because we're still in his shadow until mid-March, it's worth reminding you we're still going to be feeling the Mars Rx wonkiness. It's a bit like coming out of a long hibernation, so you may still feel a bit dazed and confused.
That will dissipate over the next two months until we're rearing to go again at the Astrological New Year (the spring equinox and Aries Season on March 20).
This morning at 5.11am PT, Mercury turned direct, as well!
We'll be in his shadow until Monday, February 6 — just shy of three weeks, so we're not totally out of the clear yet, but sooooon!
Also this morning at 6.30am, the Sun met Pluto, Lord of the Underworld.
It's a good day to focus on whatever transformation and empowerment you would like to see for your life in 2023. As the energy gains momentum in the coming weeks, you'll have the opportunity to make headway — especially if you're reflecting now on what you want to do differently.
The Sun ingresses into Aquarius this Friday at 12.29am PT.
The sign of the Water Bearer is actually an air sign that nourishes the masses with its revolutionary spirit and progressive outlook. Expect the mood to lighten as we redirect our attention from material concerns to an optimistic vision for the future.
This weekend we've got the New Moon in Aquarius, which marks the Chinese Lunar New Year!
Fun Fact: In California, the New Moon falls at 12.53pm on Saturday; and in Beijing, it falls at 4.53am on Sunday.
I just love that this is the year of the rabbit, because these adorable little creatures represent fertility, abundance and even compassion. Who couldn't use a good dose of happiness in their life after the 2020 Trilogy?
How to make the most of the Lunar New Year
Meditate on the changes you would like to make manifest in your life this year.
>> What's your vision for the future? What wants to be birthed?
Reflect on what tangible action you can take to align with this new vision.
>> Aquarius is the eagle with the birds-eye view of the terrain. You'll have sharper vision now to see what really needs to be done to meet your goal.
Make a commitment to your own progress.
>> It's not enough to feverishly want something or to dream about change. You've gotta be dedicated to taking action — especially as the momentum gains speed in March 2023, facilitating rapid progress.
If you haven't listened to my 2023 Forecast (below), now's the time, because I dive into aligning with your goals in more detail.
On Sunday, Uranus — the planetary ruler of Aquarius — ends his five-month retrograde!
Uranus is one of the slower moving outer planets. His retrograde lasts much longer, and we don't feel it in the same way we do when one of the quicker-moving social planets (Mercury, Venus, Mars) goes Rx.
>> I mention it here because, as of Sunday, there will be no retrograde planets! That's a big deal, as it happens quite rarely and usually for only short duration.
All planets in direct motion further emphasizes our forward movement and progress.
Also on Sunday, the Moon meets Venus and Saturn in Aquarius. There's now four planets in friendly Aquarius (that's a lot).
Your New Moon contemplations are likely to continue today. Consider what work needs to be done around your finances and relationships to meet the goals or visions you established yesterday.
Moon–Saturn days can bring melancholy. It can be scary to establish new goals because the ego just loves to tell you all the reasons why you can't succeed!
If negative self-talk arises, remind yourself that this is a normal response to challenging your upper limits. In fact, it's a sign that you're already stepping outside of what's familiar.
>> Well done! Call on a supportive friend to help gain perspective so you don't get lost in the mind's maze.
On Monday and Tuesday, Mercury once again makes a lovely aspect over to insightful Uranus at the same time the Moon joins Neptune in romantic Pisces.
These are excellent days for carving out time to think and dream about your future. Allow idealistic Neptune to be your muse; don't hold your imagination back.
It's also an opportune time for brainstorming. Prepare for flashes of insight from Mercury–Uranus and be ready to jot down your great ideas for execution now or later!
>> How are you feeling about 2023 so far Inoah? I've received more than a few disgruntled reports! I would love to hear from you too.
In the meantime, I'm wishing you a prosperous Lunar New Year!
P.S. I'm co-hosting a New Moon Sound Healing this Saturday, January 21. Then on Saturday, February 11, I'm giving a 2023 Forecast. Click the links to learn more. xo
