It's Clean-up Time!
How did Saturday morning's New Moon in Virgo treat you? Have you found yourself wanting to purge, de-clutter or focus on a healthcare regiment?
My friend Kevin says Virgo Season is "clean up time." Right-o you are Cosmic Kev!
Sweet Virgo the Virgin is the sign that represents Purity. Virgos typically have a high moral character with a predilection toward honesty and helpfulness.
You know those people who are just plain GOOD? Those that you can trust and rely upon? These folks usually have strong Virgo energy in their chart.
They also tend to have a preoccupation with details and cleanliness, which you can see in how they attend to their daily affairs.
Generally speaking, Virgo keeps a tidy home, is physically fit and prefers to eat clean and healthy food. (The Master Cleanse was surely inspired up by a Virgo!)
On a more spiritual level, this desire for Purity is really about achieving optimal "health" of the Mind-Body-Spirit trinity.
Purity and perfection are practically synonymous to a Virgo! She really does want everything to be "just so."
I'm not a fan of setting unreachable goals or being run into the ground in a quest for some kind of holistic perfection — no matter how beneficial it may seem.
On the other hand, I'm also willing to bet you can bring more awareness to what needs to be purified and cleaned up in terms of the relationship you're cultivating with your Body-Mind-Spirit trinity?
Here's your contemplations on the Spiritual Keynote of Purity.
Where does your character need some cleaning-up and Purification? Do you continuously engage in a habit, relationship or other activity that is just no good for you?
Virgo's inherent "goodness" can really assist you in identifying the source of the decay and rooting it out. Actively employ the Virgin's honesty to see where you may be engaged in behavior that creates dis-ease in your system and in the lives of those around you.
Where could you bring more Purity to your Mind-Body-Spirit? Would you benefit from less screen time, fewer french fries, more meditation (that's mine)?
Does your home, office or vehicle need a thorough detail? The outside reflects the inside. If you want to help align your Mind-Body-Spirit, just look around with the detailed scrutiny of the Virgo archetype and see where it's "clean-up time" in your physical environment.
Virgo wants to get the job done because it understands that once accomplished, the whole will function better for the one part being improved.
Take note! There should be some joy involved in the cleaning process (literal or metaphorical), otherwise, you're not really embodying the Virgo purpose for cleaning — to strengthen your connection to Divine by elevating your Mind-Body-Spirit!

For the next few days, Mars, the planet of action and vitality, is making a lovely aspect over to Guru Jupiter.
Jupiter is happy-go-lucky and full of possibility. Plus, he expands or enhances whatever he touches — kind of like King Midas.
While I can't promise you riches, I know that NOW is an excellent time to take action on a vision, goal, passion project or any dream you've been envisioning for yourself.
You'll find that Mars gives you the fire and endurance to really get 'er done.
It's very often the case that projects initiated under Jupiter's influence are more fruitful — though results may not be Amazon Prime fast.
And since it's Virgo Season, this may be as simple as cleaning, purging and reorganizing your space.
Even simple, everyday chores can shift your energetic field pretty substantially so that you're better positioned to go the extra mile where and when it really counts.
Finally, dun dun dun dun ... Mercury retrograde (Rx) is baaaaack.
The Cosmic Trickster entered his shadow last week Saturday, August 20 and officially goes Rx next Friday, September 9 for three weeks.
Take advantage of the Virgo energy and Mars-Jupiter aspect to get your affairs in order and batten down the hatches. (Joking not joking.)
Seriously though, now's the time for simple preparatory tasks like backing up your computer, confirming the timing of important appointments and mentally preparing yourself for a message from The Ex.
