New Moon in Passionate Leo! 🌙 ♌

Early this Sunday morning, we've got a New Moon in Leo. We have a New Moon every month when Luna joins the Sun in the heavens. Therefore, the New Moon is always in the same sign as the Sun. 🌙☀️
Leo is the archetype of courage. It's the brave and loyal heart that loves passionately.
I just LOVE that courage exists on the same spectrum as fear. You can't have courage where fear isn't also present! 💯
It's easy to overlook fear when focusing on someone's heroism, right? I mean, fear definitely has a repellent vibration, whether we're conscious of it or not.
Bravery on the other hand? It's magnetic, reassuring and even sexy! 😍
Yet, you can't have the courage without the terror!
It's so very easy for us to forget this or to even think of a brave person as actually lacking fear — as though they move through life without the gnawing agitations and anxieties that are universal to the human experience. 😱
If courage only exists in the face of fear, then it would seem that fear acts as a friend along our path. Rather than it being something to push away or to feel shame about, perhaps we would benefit from embracing it?
So what does this New Moon have to show us about courage? 🦁
Under this Leo New Moon, I'm encouraging you to contemplate your relationship with fear and courage.
On the surface, this may not be the most enticing topic. But consider that Leo rules the heart and our ability to follow the heart. 💎
This spectrum of fear and courage then, is hugely interconnected to our ability to hear the Still Small Voice of the Heart (Source) and to act accordingly.
Here's some inquiries for you:
🌙♌ Is there fear active in your system? How about courage?
How does it present in your Mind-Body-Spirit? (Do you feel it in your mind? Your body? Your spirit? All three?) What's it trying to tell you?
🌙♌ What if you allowed your fear (and courage!) to act as a compass, leading you back to your heart's deepest desires, whether that's to be authentic, to give voice to your true opinions or to express your inner child?
How do you feel about that idea? Do you reject fear or welcome it as a potential ally? Do you think courage is somehow better than fear?
🌙♌ Recall the last time you acted with bravery. Can you identify at what point the pain and discomfort catalyzed your courage to make a change?
I once heard Tony Robbins say that we have to be disgusted with a situation before we'll make a change. Wow, disgusted?! That's such a big word.
I kind of wanted to argue with Tony. But after some inquiry about major changes in my own life, I realized, dude was right! Being fed up or sick and tired of something is great fodder for your courage. 😖
The Sun and New Moon are in happy aspect to fiery Mars and benefic Jupiter, giving "The Lights" a boost to channel your emotions with maximum creative potential.
It's time to have faith and embrace optimism! You have the power to use this powerful energy to consciously realign with your heart's desire rather than being a victim to life or to your own limiting beliefs! 💥
⚡ The AstroLogical Forecast! ⚡
I'm going to focus the forecast on Sunday's astrology, because we've got a LOT going on that day. But first, I want to spotlight an aspect I spoke to last week, as it will persist through this week as well.
☀️🔥🧭 The Sun is in supportive aspect to both dynamic Mars and Guru Jupiter.
We now have Mars and Jupiter in Gemini making a cooperative sextile over to the Sun and creating a lot of energy and movement.
Mars is basically fueling the Sun's creative desires and vision while Jupiter enhances the possibilities. 💥
Because Leo is the sign of leadership, there's a lot of potential for us to discover, both at the collective and individual levels, what we want and need to feel motivated by another.

🤩 Likewise, Jupiter is bringing a decidedly cheerful vibe to the party. He's giving us all a more positive outlook.

On Sunday, we have not one, but THREE important planetary events!
🌙☀️ The New Moon meets the Sun in Leo at 4.13am PT on Sunday, August 4.
If you want to do a New Moon intention setting, then I suggest doing it Saturday. Luna moves fast, so by the time you wake up Sunday, the energy will have already climaxed. 🌊
In addition to the above contemplations, you can focus your ritual on any of Leo's archetypes, including: Creativity, Life Purpose, children (including the inner child), romance, playfulness, companion animals, leadership, generosity, storytelling or the health of your physical heart.
💜♍ On Sunday evening at 7.22pm PT, Venus leaves Leo and joins Mercury in humble Virgo.
When Venus — the planet of relationships, money and our values — orbits through Virgo, we can find ourselves paying greater attention to whether these areas of our lives are functioning optimally.
Where Leo is carefree and generous, Virgo is attentive and prudent. Venus in Virgo is an excellent money-manager and can straighten out any mess with record speed and an adept understanding of the root causes. 📈

💌🐒 Shortly thereafter at 9.56pm PT, Cosmic Trickster MERCURY GOES RETROGRADE (Rx) in his second home sign of practical Virgo.
Remember, an Rx planet is an optical illusion in which the planet is seemingly moving backward through the heavens.
This symbolism indicates that Mercury's functions will be experienced atypically and therefore may cause trouble (at least to the ego's way of thinking!). ⚠️
What does Mercury represent? Here's a few of his archetypes:
Learning, communicating, perceiving, nieces and nephews, aunties and uncles, sales, appointments, small electronics, your local community, the news (media, postal service, etc.), short-distance travel and in-town transportation like trains, bikes and cars. 📫
