An Auspicious Eclipse?

Heads up! May is going to be an action-packed month full of juicy astrology, beginning with the end of eclipse season!

If you thought April's eclipse was full on, then watch out for Friday.

This one will be a Full Moon in Scorpio, the sign that exemplifies intensity.

It's also the Full Moon under which the Buddha is said to have reached his Enlightenment under the Bodhi Tree. This day is celebrated around the world as the spiritual high point of the year.

My mambasa says this Full Moon is so auspicious because it represents the act of going within and the "cycles of darkness that eventually awaken us."

It's super powerful to have this important day fall on an eclipse!

From the Evolutionary Astrology perspective, our Souls are in a unique dance with Divine, as reflected in the cosmic cycles and patterns.

Whatever we're experiencing in any given moment is bringing us closer to our karmic intentions. Regardless of the "flavor" of lessons we're learning, the end goal is always the same: Return to Source.

So as we navigate the first eclipse season during a BIG astrological year, it's helpful to keep returning to our spiritual practice for nurturing and fortitude.

The eclipse occurs at 10.34am PT Friday when the Moon is in exact opposition to the Sun in Taurus. To boot, Luna will also be opposite shocking Uranus.

We will almost certainly be given some sort of situation, internal or external, that illuminates the interplay between what we value (Taurus) and our personal empowerment (Scorpio).

We'll also have Venus and Neptune in an unpleasant aspect, indicating that relationship dynamics will be at play — and not in a happy way.

Eclipse Inquiries:

Can you name your values?

There are transcendent values, like Truth, Peace, Love and Justice; there are mundane values like financial security, eating ethically or familial cohesion.

>> We're all oriented toward certain defining values. What are yours?

When was the last time you took inventory of your values? Are you living in alignment with them? How do you know?

Our values change over time depending on the season of our lives. We know what it looks like when words and actions aren't congruent, whether we can see it in ourselves or another.

>> What actions show you that you're in or out of integrity with yourself and what your heart is calling you to create?

How does your relationship with yourself and others match up with your values? Do these relationships dis/empower you?

Where are you relying on others for the self-empowerment only you can give yourself? Do you have relationships that no longer match your values?

>> This theme will come up again over the summer when Venus goes retrograde, so now's an opportune moment to start reflecting.

Events over the last two weeks and culminating Friday morning are likely to bookend whatever transpired on the 19th with the New Moon solar eclipse.

If we're mindful, we can use the newfound clarity to empower ourselves to live a life from our highest values.

>> BTW, I'm going to be announcing a new service for business professionals here shortly!

If you identify as such and you're curious, then please write me back, and I'll be sure to give you the full scoop!

THE ASTROLOGICAL FORECAST

Get Down With The Cosmos! Align with the planetary energies for increased understanding and harmony in life.

Note: Everything outlined below is happening within the backdrop of eclipse season. Although the eclipse is Friday, we will be under its influence for quite some time.

 At Work

CEO Saturn is in lovely aspect to the Destiny Point and Mercury in retrograde. This is excellent energy for planning and strategizing your next steps. Then, you'll be prepared for implementation once Mercury turns direct again on the 14th.

>> What do you want to accomplish at work (and at home)? Now's the time to get organized for an increased time of growth ahead.

Mercury is still retrograde, so you'll benefit most from project planning and management now.

In Love & Money

Venus, the Goddess of Love and Beauty, is making some cosmic waves this week. For the next few days, she'll be in a not-so-pleasant aspect over to confusing Neptune.

You may have an unexpected expense, or things may not be all that they appear. I highly advise against making commitments that involve your heart or pocketbook. This energy shifts beginning Sunday.

>> On the other hand, she's in a friendly conversation with optimistic Jupiter, so you may have some fun or frivolity these next few days.

It could also reveal some helpful truths about your belief systems and values.

On Sunday morning, Venus moves into sensitive, family-oriented Cancer and is in harmonious aspect with responsible Saturn.

>> You'll probably want to stay close to home now and conserve resources after another intense eclipse season.

With Divine

In addition to the Buddh'a Full Moon on Friday, we've also got a potent day on Monday. The Sun and Uranus make their once-annual meeting while also forming a harmonious aspect over to energetic Mars.

>> Take advantage of any insights and increased vitality after the slog of eclipse season.

Uranus is the higher mind, so this energy can lend itself to sudden and unexpected insights. This is especially true if you're in conversation with Spirit or cultivating enough silence to hear that still small voice of God.

Generally speaking, this aspect could also land some kind of good fortune in your lap!

>> I'm curious to know what values are most important to you. Will you write me back and share?

Eclipses can be pretty hardcore. But, we have them multiple times each and every year. You've got this!

P.S. The next astrological sound healing event is under Friday's eclipse. Will you join us? Click here for all the details!
