Your Heart is Calling?
Well, from the email responses I received last week, it was another doozy.
(I wish I could put googly eyes in the double "O"s to really drive the point home!)
My favorite was something like, "I hated this week. There were some good nuggets, but it mostly sucked."
Ha! I laughed so hard at that, because: SAME.
While I don't like to write with reports of storm clouds on the horizon, the astrological weather is for real.
My goal is to deliver the forecast in a way that helps you feel optimistic and prepared to ride the wave of prevailing energies!
(Side note: We gotta Full Moon tomorrow, which I speak to later in this email.)
Last week, we explored the Lion's passionate, insatiable NEED to Creatively Self-actualize.
This week's Spiritual Keynote? PURPOSE.
Ooooh, juicy.
We all got some secret sauce that no one else can boast. So regardless of how your creativity expresses, it's paramount that it do so.
Here's the deal, though: It's the expression of your unique Creative energy that can lead you to your Soul's purpose. No one ever discovered their life purpose by way of thinking.
Your life purpose, soul destiny — whatever you want to call it (I like "dharma") — often comes through your capacity for Creativity.
Creativity is like a compass pointing to your personal due North (or the North Node, a destiny point in your horoscope).
I like how Spiritual Teacher Eckhart Tolle breaks it down:
"You have to leave space inside yourself for creativity to enter. Creativity doesn't come from thinking. There may be an inspired thought, but that thought doesn't arise without the deeper space [stillness or silence]."
What I've observed is that the more silence is cultivated, the more life's great gift of Purpose seems to take hold and unfold.
The beautiful thing about this unfolding is that it's a lot more about allowing Spirit to arise in every moment than it is about controlling the situation or taking striking action that originated in the mind.
Leo rules the heart — physically and symbolically.
So this Leo Season, I encourage you to hone in on how you can use your heart in service to your Creative expression and Soul Purpose.
Do you take time on a regular basis to be mindful, to meditate or simply to be with yourself without external stimulation?
The cultivation of silence allows you to hear what your heart is saying (that Still Small Voice of God).
Can you tell the difference between what your heart is saying and your ego's voice?
Your heart isn't a voice so much as it's guidance; a knowing; quiet Truth. It's entirely different than the Monkey Mind — the endless yammering of thought that talks at you and has a lot of nonsense or bullshit to say.
If you do hear it, do you also listen to it? Sometimes, the heart's guidance is counter to what the ego wants.
What do you do in those moments? Have you ever ignored your heart and lived to regret it? (The answer is yes, yes you have. Stop that!)
Rather than all the responsibility laying firmly on your shoulders, you can actually cultivate more silence in your life for Spirit to enter and then guide you toward your Purpose.
Whoa — that's a huge load off, am I right?
And who couldn't use a little direction through the 2020 Trilogy Shit Show?!
And now moving on to tomorrow's Full Moon in Aquarius at 6.35pm. The Full Moon rises on a day full of juicy astrology.
Without going into too much jargon, I want to just say that there has been a lot of cosmic activity in the last few weeks and the last few days especially.
Even if you aren't energetically sensitive, you've probably had intense experiences — internally, externally or both.
On Monday, Venus and Pluto made an opposition to one another. Venus is our relationship to self, others and money; Pluto has a lot to do with empowering yourself — or not.
So it's likely that you had an interpersonal experience(s) — especially related to finances — in which you got real clear on your values and possibly a new direction forward.
Did you experience the dynamic as either a power struggle or call to be more self-empowered?
The Full Moon is in Aquarius, the opposite sign of the Sun.
Leo wants you to express yourself creatively, so that you can come into greater alignment with your Soul's purpose.
On the other hand, Aquarius is the sign of community and social advancement. It asks, "how can you use your creative talents to benefit society as a whole rather than just yourself and your family?"
It's one thing to cultivate your Creativity in service to your life Purpose. But if you're not uplifting others in the process, then how fulfilling will that Purpose really be?
The Full Moon is also getting cozy with Saturn, the Lord of Karma, whose realism and practicality can sometimes lead to feelings of pessimism.
But good news: Sweet Venus moves into fun-loving Leo too!
The following remedies can help alleviate any sadness or uncomfortable emotions that may arise as you reflect under the Full Moon:
Be playful! Do something fun or that will make you laugh, even if it's as simple as watching silly kitten videos on social (mrow)
Act generously in service to someone around you; unexpected gestures have a ripple effect that go a long way toward uplifting the collective vibration
Add some romance to your day, whether it's directed toward yourself or another
>> I want to know if you answer the call of your heart when you hear it. Are you accustomed to cultivating silence and really listening to Spirit's guidance?
Write me back and let me know!
